Welcome to the website of Typing 2000 a Secretarial
Service based in Melbourne. Christine Nurse is the manager and operator of
Typing 2000 and was a legal Administrative Assistant for 15 years prior to
commencing the business in 1990. Christine has an experienced support staff to
help meet all deadlines.
Typing 2000 specializes in:
Resumes: Christine interviews
customers to write an accurate, concise
resume. It doesn’t matter whether you are just leaving school and have minimal
work experience or have been working for 30 years, Christine’s patient approach
will leave you with the best possible Curriculum Vitae. Christine’s support
extends to letter writing and coaching for interviews.
Academic Tape Transcription:
Typing 2000 performs transcription work for Melbourne, Monash, Latrobe,
Swinburne, Deakin and RMIT universities across English, Mathematics, Politics,
History, Metallurgy, Science, Arts, Medicine and Education Faculties. She
prefers digitally recorded work but will transcribe clearly spoken work on
standard cassettes. On completion work is emailed to the client and/or printed.
Digital Transcription: As well
as using traditional tape for transcription, Typing 2000 use Express Scribe
software to convert digital files to Word files.
Family Histories / Diary Transcription. Typing
2000 has been called upon to decipher
private hand written journal notes by an Airforce pilot from World War 2 and to
write the family history of a Victorian Metallurgist tracing his roots back to
the Isle of Man, and observations and rulings of a retired judge.
Confidentiality and Privacy are paramount.
Small Business/Personal Correspondence. Typing
2000 provides Services to the small practitioner who may only require very part
time backup services of typing letters and envelopes, labels and compiling data
bases.
